
Cassandra Burckhalter
Ms. Burckhalter is co-host of The Truth talk show, an accomplished trainer, speaker, lifestyle expert, and published author of The Hot 100 Echoes of a Woman’s Thoughts (seen on Live with Regis & Kelly). She has extensive experience working with executive management and boards; members of Congress and Congressional staff; high level industry representatives and other dignitaries. Ms. Burckhalter is comfortable addressing large groups including the media; and has in-depth experience addressing political and social issues through advocacy.
In 2002, Ms. Burckhalter founded Women Working Together To Make A Difference, LLC. “Women Working Together” is designed to motivate you “To Make A Difference” in every aspect of your life ─ work, family, community and, most importantly, within yourself. She empowers women and girls to realize their full potential, regardless of age or life circumstances. She helps them to better understand themselves and others, respect differences, appreciate diversity, capitalize on their strengths, and work effectively with others to meet their professional and personal goals. Ms. Burckhalter’s professional services include training, lifestyle expert, motivational speaker for special events i.e., developmental training, conferences and conventions, college events, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
In 2011, Ms Burckhalter will co-host her first talk show, The Truth, a new and exciting television talk show coming to the Washington Metropolitan area. This exciting and entertaining show will highlight powerful, healthy, and authentic conversations that are important to women – real talk, real stories, real life!
Ms. Burckhalter’s strong presence in the public arena comes from six years of experience as a runway model. During that time she was featured in magazines worldwide and on the front cover of a CD. She was also a National Finalist for Ms. USA Petite Model Pageant.
Ms. Burckhalter is active in politics and her community. She has been featured in educational and political television commercials. She served as a local coordinator for a Maryland State’s Attorney Candidate, and for campaign visits by members of Congress and Congressional staff. Also, Ms. Burckhalter served as the Director of Communications for a Maryland Attorney General Candidate. Ms. Burckhalter was appointed by the County Executive to serve as a Commissioner on the Prince George’s County Commission for Women. She is Chair of the Boulevard at the Capital Centre Advisory Council.
Ms. Burckhalter was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College.
